SBI is Hiring Civil Engineers: 46 Vacancies

State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting for Assistant Manager (Engineer- Civil and Electrical). SBI has just published the notification for the recruitment of SPECIALIST CADRE OFFICERS (Regular) based on Written Test and Interview. There are a total of 46 vacancies as confirmed by the official notification. Out of these 46 vacancies, 36 posts are to be filled by Civil and rest 10 by Electrical.

SBI is India's largest public sector banking and financial services body.. In case more than one candidate scores same marks at cut-off marks in the final merit list (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked in the merit according to their

age in descending order.

Pay Scale / Remuneration

• Scale of Pay: 36000-1490/7-46340-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840

• The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility etc. as per rules in force from time to time

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 60% or above marks,OR 6.75 ON A SCALE OF

10 IN THE CASE OF EQUIVALENT CGPA/OGPA/CPI OR SIMILAR EVALUATION CRITERIA.

Post Qualification Experience

• Experience as on 01.04.2021: 2 Years of work experience for Bachelor's degree and 1 year for Master's degree.

• The work experience must have been obtained after basic qualification.

• Essential experience: In construction/maintenance of multi-storeyed commercial/institutional/residential buildings involving RCC framed construction, or projects involving pile foundation, controlled concrete work, mix design, testing of materials or projects,planning and control (preferably computer based) including experience in design,testing and preparation of cost estimates for construction work and checking of contractors' bills,etc..

Age Limit

The Upper and Lower Age Limit are 21 and 30 Years respectively as of 01-April-2021.

The category-wise age relaxation is also applicable as per the official notification.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for posts will be on the basis of Online Written Test and Interview.

Online written Test: The online written test(General Aptitude-120 marks-90 minutes and Technical -100 marks- 45 minutes) will be conducted tentatively on 25.09.2021. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e-mails.

Upon qualifying the Written Test, there will be an Interview Round.
